Once in a while an online mosaic project catches my eye, and this one is definitively did! I think I have already spent over 4 hours just looking and reading about all of the users posted travel photos. I can't think of a more interesting or captivating way to show so many photos at once than in a mosaic, and this mosaic is no exception!
With a little domain name "whois" detective work, it seems that our friends at Picture Mosaics were at it again helping Lonely Planet execute this amazing and still growing mosaic. I do warn you though, once you visit the mosaic you may get sucked in and lose track of time. Be sure to check out the cool tag cloud and location search, it will take on a guided photo tour of user submitted photos. Very very cool! |
